Welcome to the Writing Studio! The Studio offers free synchronous and asynchronous writing assistance with experienced writing tutors to all currently-enrolled USF undergraduate and graduate students. The Writing Studio is here to support students as they find their writing voice and develop their projects at any stage of the writing process.
Please note that the Writing Studio is temporarily moved to LIB206 for Summer 2025.
Synchronous (in-person and Online) Services
The Writing Studio offers in-person appointments at the Tampa library location and online appointments through Microsoft Teams. During each synchronous session, students will have 50 minutes to talk with a writing tutor, who will ask questions about writing goals and concerns. Consultations are interactive and collaborative, so students should come prepared to work actively on their writing.
