Family Weekend Schedule

We are thrilled to host our families on the Tampa Campus for most of our Family Weekend experience while also offering some events at our St. Pete campus. Family Weekend is open to families, friends, and USF students who attend any of our three campus locations. 

Registration is required and wristbands must be shown for access to all Family Weekend events. All Family Weekend events, times, and locations are subject to change.

Friday, October 3rd

Join the for a unqiue campus tour highlighting USF鈥檚 history and traditions! You will also be able to complete several of the 56 traditions that encompass the essence of what it means to be a USF Bull through the USF HornsUp App.

Join USF Global Learning鈥檚 Family Weekend Open House to explore study-abroad programs spanning dozens of countries, tour the Global Student Hub, and discover how global experiences enhance student success.

4-6:30PM  |  Bulls Blitz: Ride to the Game! (return rides after 4th quarter)

Marshall Student Center (MSC) Entrance   (Tampa Campus Bulls Blitz only) 

Bulls Blitz offers transportation to home football games! Family members registered for Family Weekend are able to ride if they: 

  • Check in for Family Weekend first to receive your Family Weekend wristband.
  • Sign a non-liability waiver at Bulls Blitz Check-in (outfront of the Marshall Student Center) or online and wear both the Family Weekend and Bulls Blitz wristbands (recieved at Bulls Blitz Check-in) to ride. 
  • Are accompanied by their USF student (student must have USF ID).

馃搵 ITINERARY:

  • Tampa Campus Departure: First bus departs at 4:00 PM 鈥 last bus leaves at 6:30 PM from the Marshall Student Center Theater Lot.
  • Kickoff: 7:00 PM
  • Return to Tampa Campus: Return service begins immediately following the start of the 4th quarter from the same drop-off location at Raymond James Stadium.
    • Riding Bulls Blitz is first come, first served; anticipated wait time may be longer on the return bus.
    • Return buses have limited seats, and you must be wearing your wristband to board.
    • You can鈥檛 ride the return bus if you didn鈥檛 ride to the game, but you do not have to ride back if you rode to the game.

If you plan to ride Bulls Blitz, please complete this form linked above. Each person riding the bus MUST complete this form. Family members will be asked to present their photo ID upon check-in. Parents/guardians completing the form for a minor will be asked to present their ID on behalf of the minor.

Completing the form does NOT guarantee a seat 鈥 seating is first come, first served.

Enjoy this Bulls tailgate themed Bulls Nite Out and join us for a USF Football game watch party with live game coverage, music, and fun games for all ages鈥攑erfect for families not attending the game.

Raymond James Stadium ()

Come out and cheer on the USF Bulls as they take on the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in an electrifying home football game! Join us for an unforgettable game and show off your Bull spirit! A link to purchase discounted tickets is sent via email to those registered for Family Weekend. This is an add-on experience additional purchase required.

Parking and transportation at Raymond James Stadium is on your own. Individual parking passes can be purchased (using card only) on the day of game in the nearest day-of-game parking lots or . ADA Drop off locations: South of Lot B Entrance, North of Tampa Bay Blvd. in southbound lanes, Lot A in Mass Transit.

Bag Policy: No bags larger than a small clutch (4.5鈥漻6.5鈥) will be permitted to be brought into the stadium.

In the rubble of the London Blitz of World War II, Alice Spencer鈥檚 budding teen life is turned upside down, and she and her dear friend Alfred are forced to take shelter in an underground tube station. When the ailing Alfred is quarantined, Alice encourages him to escape with her into their cherished book and journey down the rabbit hole to Wonderland.

As they travel through the tale, Alice by Heart explores the poignancy of first love, coming to terms with loss, and finding the courage to move forward. This world premiere musical encourages us all to celebrate the transformational power of the imagination, even in the harshest of times.

9:30-11AM | Build a Bull Exam Stress Kit Project

Centre Gallery (MSC) Second Floor 

Stop by and build a Bull Exam Stress Kit! You will get to decorate the box, leave a note of encouragement, and select which supplies and goodies will go in your kit. We will store the kits and pass them out to students during Final exams at Study Center, right here in the MSC.

USF Riverfront Park ()

Harness up with your friends and family for a chance to climb 3 different levels on the USF Challenge Course! If you've ever seen ziplining and wanted to try it, this is your chance! Test your balance on our log, make the leap across the Bulls Bridge, swing from rope to rope, or race across our double zip-line!  

This event can take up to 3 hours to complete. Contact USF Challenge Course at challengecourse@usf.edu for questions or additional information.

Come out and enjoy some time on the Hillsborough River at USF Riverfront Park. We have canoes, kayaks and stand up paddleboards available on a first come, first served basis. Free with your Family Weekend wristband. Check-in at the Boathouse.

Step right up for the ultimate Family Weekend celebration! The Fam Jam is a lively carnival-style event with food trucks, games, live music, prizes, inflatables, and more family fun!

Family Weekend registrants can pick-up 1 food truck voucher per person beside the food trucks outside the Marshall Student Center. You can get either a half entree with beverage or a sweet treat with each voucher.

CHARIT-A-BULL FOOD DRIVE

Family members can drop off non-perishable donations to support fellow bulls in need. Drop oof items at the Marshall Student Center (MSC) Atrium on the Tampa campus OR at the H. William Heller Hall (HWH) 101, New Student & Family Engagement Office on the St. Petersburg campus. Sponsored and brought to you by The Center for Leadership & Civic Engagement.

  • High Need: Tuna or salmon, Peanut butter, Breakfast foods (cereal, oatmeal, etc.), Rice, Pasta, Pasta sauce, Canned soup, Hygiene products
  • Medium Need: Snack items (popcorn, pretzels, etc.), Microwaveable meals, Mashed potato or stuffing mix, Canned fruit, Canned vegetables
  • Less Need: Mac and cheese, Ramen

All donations go to the Feed-A-Bull Pantry on campus. 

Workout with your student!

Work out or play alongside your student at one of USF鈥檚 Recreation & Wellness facilities for free on both the Tampa and St. Petersburg campuses! All participants must be accompanied by their USF student, wear their Family Weekend wristband, and sign a waiver at the facility to enter.

Finding Rocky: A Family Scavenger Hunt

Missing Rocky Flyer!

Rocky D. Bull, the best mascot in all the land, is missing! Your family will need to solve a series of puzzles across the Tampa campus in order to track down our missing bull mascot. Families that complete the game, are entered to win prizes like tickets for Family Weekend 2026. Winners will be announced on our instagram @usf_nsc

Download The Great Game app 鈥 only one person per team needs it, however, having more players is more fun! 

Create an account with your email, then select 鈥淩egister for a Game鈥 and choose USF鈥揟ampa. Start your team with the following steps:

  1. One player taps 鈥淐reate Team鈥 and sets a name and password.
  2. Other players tap 鈥淛oin Team鈥 and log in.
  3. Once your team is ready, head to the start location at the Marshall Student Center and begin your adventure!

Add-On Experiences

Add-on experiences are a great way to expand your Family Weekend fun! The Bulls hand icon denotes add-on experiences that require additional purchase, tickets, or registration. Discount codes and links are provided via email to those registered for Family Weekend!
