Get paid while earning a Masters or Doctoral degree in Oceanography

Are you interested in graduate school, but aren鈥檛 ready to commit to a Ph.D. program? The USF College of Marine Sciences will pay you to earn your M.S. in a variety of oceanographic specialties. Most oceanography schools will make you pay to get an M.S., but not USF CMS. The same applies for our Ph.D. program.

The Rafter lab is currently looking for a student to lead one of these 2 projects:

1: Atlantic Ocean circulation changes over the past 10,000 years (a.k.a., North Atlantic Deep Water formation)

2: Examining the global relationship between marine nitrogen, iron, and carbon (a.k.a., carbon export in iron-limited waters)

Students leading either project will earn their Masters of Science (M.S.) in Chemical Oceanography, with the option to stay on for a Ph.D.

The Rafter lab is currently looking for a student to lead a variety of projects looking at carbon and climate cycling on Earth in the past, present, and future. .
