Through its partnership with U.S. Special Operations Command, the USF Institute of Applied Engineering has co-led an illuminating study that found repeated exposure to low-level blasts is associated with signs of brain injury in Special Operations Forces.

Dr. Passaglia Tackles Glaucoma with Novel Technology
Dr. Passaglia and his lab published two papers related to intraocular pressure: "Characterization of intraocular pressure variability in conscious rats" and "Simulation of gravity- and pump-driven perfusion techniques for measuring outflow facility of ex vivo and in vivo eyes."

USF has been awarded the AUTM Better Project Award, thanks to USF's Technology Transfer Office, Civil & Environmental Engineering professor Daniel Yeh and Yeh's NEWGenerator, a solar-powered innovation providing off-grid water sanitation for people in remote locations.
